What happens when we combine our love of travel with our love of food?

We created the concept of Black Roux Culinary Collective to bring the world to your table. Our immersive culinary experiences create a dynamic approach to studying and sampling the culinary traditions of diverse regions.

BLack Roux offers adult culinary classes geared toward the passionate home cook who is serious about expanding their knowledge and skill in multi regional cuisine. Weekly classes delving head first into cultural cooking traditions will leave students with the confidence to prepare food from far away places with skill.

BUT WHY STOP HERE?…

We are pleased to also offer the experience of an invite only monthly supper club where the region of study is explored in a 12 course tasting adventure with special guest chefs. Be on the look out for announcements and details of securing your invite. Spaces will be limited.

Black Roux Culinary Excursions! Our pride and joy. When we speak of our experiences being immersive. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Our excursions aim to take our students to the source. What better way to learn about the worlds diverse culinary traditions than to get on a plane and go there. Our small group itineraries submerge you in culture, cuisine, and the ultimate in authentic regional cooking. These excursions are on a first come first serve basis and extremely limited. We want our students to be able to dig in to markets, classes, restaraunts, and shops on a personal level. Luxury accommodations at local villas, daily meals, transport and activities are included. *Flights are not included

Our inaugural trip to Ghana in June 2020 will start pre registration fall 2109!
